2nd Gurkha Open Championships - yet more success for the Brotherhood

On yet another successful day for the Brotherhood, the team collected medals in both disciplines (Poomsae & Kyurugi) at a well attended event, which saw entries from clubs from across the UK, including many international competitors.

Star performances came from double medallist Hollie Wilkinson (Gold-Poomsae & Silver-Kyurugi), Seda Day, who was up against big opposition but still came away with Gold (poomsae) and an accomplished performance to earn Gold (poomsae) by Rebecca Waller.

There were many other great performances, Michael Waller went close to matching his sister when he picked up Silver & husband and wife duo Andy Barrett and Jane Barrett collected Silver and Bronze respectively, all in the poomsae competition.

A full report with pictures & details of all medal winners, will follow shortly
