Brotherhood members selected for Cadet Poomsae Squad

Sisters Lauren & Hollie Wilkinson have been selected for the GB Cadet Poomsae squad, following an assessment session in Nottingham recently. We hope this will be the first step to greater achievements for both, as they look to make the final team selection.

Club mate Janvi Rajani narrowly missed out this time, but has been invited back to the next session for further review. We wish her success and hope that all three can eventually make the 1st team.

Brotherhood Team enjoy great success at K2 event with 10 medal placings

Both Poomsae and Kyorugi competitors from the Brotherhood Taekwondo Foundation enjoyed another succesful event in Crawley, at the K2 Championships, with 3 Gold, 4 Silver & 3 Bronze medals won by a small team of only 9 competitors.

Highlight of the team's day, was a clean sweep in the 'B' class Poomsae event, where the team fielded 4 competitors & picked up Gold, Silver & Bronze in a large field contested by competitors from clubs with an outstanding pedigree in poomsae. Well done to Hollie Wilkinson (Gold),  Janvi Rajani (Silver) & Saira Waheed (Bronze).

A tough competition but no medal on this occasion for clubmate Margerita Nazarova who also competed in this division.

There was an all Brotherhood final in the Kyorugi event where Lauren Wilkinson & Janvi Rajani  battled it out for the honours, with Laurens greater experience giving her the Gold medal.

Results are as follows: ~
