Help for Jacob - Chris Sawyerr and Family

Event will be held at:
Queensmead Sports Centre,
Victoria Road,
South Ruislip,
Middx HA4.

Time: 11.30am to 3pm
Date: Sunday 13th April 2014

Event created behalf of Con Halpin and Chris Sawyerr and Family

"To my fellow instructors and martial artists.
I think that most of you know Chris Sawyerr (former Olympic fighter, European & British champion).

Chris's youngest son (aged just 14) suffered a brain hemorrhage approx 2 weeks ago and remains in a critical condition on life support. In the meantime, Chris and his immediate family remain in accommodation provided by Great Ormond Street Hospital in order to remain close to Jacob. Consequently, neither Chris nor his partner are able to work and are suffering financially.

I would like to invite you and your members (including parents, other family & friends even if they have never trained before)to attend a fund raising seminar which will teach a variety of martial arts for all levels.

The session is provisionally booked for mid April in Northolt, North West London (UB5 post code).

Can you please pass the word around and let's try and make this a great success for a fellow Taekwondo practitioner.

Please also consider your own fund raising activities if you so wish.

Regards Con

Please pass this message on to others who know Chris but may not be on social media or those I may have overlooked."

Preparations are afoot for this years National championships, which will be held in Nottingham in early February.

It is hoped that the weather will not hinder attendance at this years event. Last year some of our best medal hopefuls missed out due to heavy snow & were unable to travel and they will be looking to put that right this time around.
